PRE-BUY PLAN
WHAT IS A PRE-BUY PLAN? Christoff Mitchell Petroleum offers our customers a chance to buy Heating Oil, Kerosene, or Propane in advance at a set price, and to get it delivered during the season at that price.
IF I GET PRE-BUY, CAN I GET AUTOMATIC DELIVERY ALSO? Once you have purchased your pre-buy, we will put you on Automatic Delivery and you won't have to worry about your deliveries.
WHAT ABOUT SERVICE CALLS? We have our own staff of service technicians. They are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to handle any heating emergency you may encounter. We also offer a Service Contract which will cover any emergency service calls you may have -- parts and labor, day or night. The cost is $216.00 a year, and includes an annual tune-up. There are also replacement allowances for new furnaces and oil tanks.
WHEN DOES THE PRE-BUY START? Pre-buy prices are usually set about the middle of July and must be purchased before the middle of September. Call our office at 814-342-3620 or 800-242-1317 for more information.
NO SURPRISE SERVICE CONTRACT
WHAT IS THE "NO SURPRISE SERVICE CONTRACT"? Christoff Mitchell Petroleum's "No Surprise Service Contract" is a simple way to cover those unexpected furnace repairs. Our "No Surprise Service Contract" covers most repairs to your furnace -- parts and labor -- day or night. It also includes an annual tune-up free! In addition, you get replacement allowances on your oil tank and furnace.
WHAT KIND OF REPLACEMENT ALLOWANCES? Customers on the "No Surprise Service Contract" receive a $100.00 replacement allowance on the oil tank. In addition, a $100.00 replacement allowance toward a new furnace for each consecutive year you carry the contract, up to a total of 5 years.
WHAT DOES IT COST? Our "No Surprise Service Contract" is $216.00 a year, or $18.00 per month.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN MOST REPAIRS? Our "No Surprise Service Contract" will cover any repair to your furnace for any normal breakdown. We cannot cover such items as:
· Furnace switch turned off.
· Thermostat set too low.
· Parts not available through our suppliers.
· Manufacturing defects of heating system parts.
· Parts or controls on coal and/or wood burning systems.
· Damage due to fire, flood, electrical surges, etc.
· Lack of oil when delivery is delayed due to delinquency in payments or Will Call delivery.
· Failure of the customer to maintain proper water level in boiler.
· Air in radiators or baseboard.
· Radiant heating coils are not covered.
· Piping not related to the heating system.

AUTOMATIC DELIVERY
HOW DOES AUTOMATIC DELIVERY WORK? Christoff Mitchell Petroleum's Automatic Delivery System {ADS} works on a "degree day" system. We have a special meter in our office that calculates the high and low temperature every day, and calculates the number of "degree days" used each day. Then, using your K-factor, which is much like your cars miles per gallon, we can tell when you will need your next delivery.
WHY SHOULD I BE ON AUTOMATIC DELIVERY? A better question is why not? First, it doesn't cost you anything to be on Automatic Delivery. Second, you don't have to worry about running out of oil, or going to the basement to check the tank. Automatic Delivery provides peace of mind. Don't you have enough things to worry about?
WHY DO YOU WAIT UNTIL THE PRICE GOES UP TO DELIVER? We couldn't do that if we wanted to. Prices change every day, and we don't know day to day what the market is going to do. We base your delivery schedule on one thing -- when you need it.
WHY DO I USE MORE ON AUTOMATIC DELIVERY? When we make an delivery, we can only put in the amount you used. Full is full. many other factors could explain increased usage, but being on Automatic Delivery is not one of them.
I'M CONCERNED ABOUT MY FINANCES, THAT IS WHY I CALL WHEN I CAN PAY FOR IT. WHAT CAN I DO? Our E-Z Payment Budget Plan is a perfect match. We take your yearly fuel bill and divide it into 12 monthly payments. With the budget plan, you make the same payment each month, and we will deliver to you as needed.

E-Z PAYMENT BUDGET PLAN AND GOLD CLUB
WHAT IS THE E-Z PAYMENT BUDGET PLAN? Christoff Mitchell Petroleum's "E-Z Payment Budget Plan" is an easy and economical way to ensure your total comfort, without the worry. We take your yearly fuel usage, multiply by a Capped Price, and divide it into 12 equal payments. It's that simple. One payment and month, and no more worries.
WHAT ABOUT THE "NO SURPRISE SERVICE CONTRACT"? That is what we call the "Gold Club". Customers on the "Gold Club" enjoy the convenience of the budget plan, the security of the Service Contract, the comfort of Automatic Delivery, and received a Capped Price on their heating oil.
WHAT IF I USE MORE THAN WHAT IS ESTIMATED? We will evaluate your budget payments, and will adjust accordingly. If you are building a credit, we can adjust your payment down. If you are using more, we can adjust it up. If you owe at the end of the budget, you will need to pay that balance before the next budget starts. If you have a credit, you can roll that over to the following year.
DOES IT MATTER THAT I CALL FOR MY DELIVERIES? Why would you? We put all of our E-Z Payment Budget Plan and Gold Club Plan customers on Automatic Delivery, and you will not have to worry about checking your tank, or running low on heating oil again.
